Dropoff: Upper (Departures) level, outside the terminals.
Taxis: Taxi podiums are on the lower (Arrivals) level at each terminal: west end of Terminal 1, east end of Terminal 2, north end of Terminal 3 and west end of Terminal 4. Fares are metered at county-regulated rates.
Self-driving rides: None as of October 2026
Train or bus: Free shuttles from the lower level run to Tri-Rail's airport station at Dania Beach, and Broward County Transit Route 1 stops at the Rental Car Center (Stop G). Fares are not listed on the airport page.

Terminals 3 and 4: pickup moved into the Palm Garage ground floor, so cross the roadway instead of waiting at the curb.
Terminal 1's pickup area is temporary (Zone Z, past the taxi podium); construction keeps shifting zones, so follow the signs.
Tri-Rail's shuttle from the terminals is free and connects to Miami and West Palm Beach trains.
