How to use the Waymo promo code
- Open the referral link. Follow this Waymo link and you will be prompted to download the Waymo app with the $10 offer attached.
- Or add the code yourself. If you already have the app but have not taken a ride, open Account, then Offers & Promotions, then Redeem Code, and enter ERIC6UQ6.
- Take your first ride. The $10 discount is applied to that ride and shows on your receipt.
The fine print
- The offer is for riders who have not yet taken a Waymo ride.
- You have 60 days after adding the code to take that first ride.
- The code works where rides are booked in the Waymo app. In cities where Waymo rides are booked through the Uber app, there is nowhere to enter it. The table further down this page shows which app books Waymo in each city.
Promo code or invite code?
They are different things. A promo code, also called a referral code, takes money off a first ride. An invite code lets someone into a service area that is not yet open to everyone, and only Waymo gives those out. Where Waymo is open to all riders you do not need an invite code: download the app and book.
