Common questions

How much is an Uber to the airport?

It depends on the distance, the city and the time. From ATL, for example, UberX to Downtown Atlanta is usually $31–43 around midday on a weekday. Choose your airport above and enter your address for your own trip.

Do airport rides cost more?

Usually a little. Most large airports charge Uber and Lyft a pickup or drop-off fee of a few dollars, which is added to the fare, and some cities add their own surcharges. Our estimates include the airport fees we know of.

Is it cheaper to take an Uber or park at the airport?

For a short trip, parking is often cheaper; for a long one, two rides usually win, because parking is charged every day you are away. The ride-or-park calculator on this page works it out with your own numbers.

Is there a flat rate for Uber or Lyft to the airport?

Not usually. Uber and Lyft price airport rides like any other trip, by distance and time plus the airport fee, and the price rises when demand is high. Some airports have flat taxi fares instead, such as JFK to Manhattan.
